In order to meet the French standard that requires a specific approval for submersible pumps electric cables for drinking water, the company has developed a special outer sheath rubber compound that obtained the French approval ACS (Attestation de Conformitè Sanitarie).
The official lab IRH Environnement of Vandoveure (France) has tested and approved the cable according to the decree dated 29.5.1997 and the circulars of the Health Ministry DGS/VS4 n° 99/217 dated 12.4.1999 and DGS/VS4 n°2000/232 dated 27.4.2000.
The special rubber compound has passed the different required tests, set up to check the physical-chemical and organoleptic parameters, the quantity of mineral and organic pollution elements, and the cito-toxicity.
In addition Aristoncavi still is the only electric cable manufacturer having obtained the British approval W.R.A.S. according to the standard BS 6920 for drinking water cables with rubber outer sheath.
