El aislamiento es de pol\u00edmero HEPR de alto m\u00f3dulo, extruido junto con las capas semiconductoras internas y externas: el triple sistema de coextrusi\u00f3n y reticulaci\u00f3n proporciona al cable una seguridad muy elevada en servicio y reduce el efecto de descarga parcial. Los cables son adecuados para la alimentaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda a tensiones nominales superiores a 1 kV (hasta a 30 kV) y para conexiones entre subestaciones de media tensi\u00f3n y transformadores de baja tensi\u00f3n.
